Waste Acrylic PMMA Pyrolysis Distillation Recycling Equipment
PMMA recycling machine adopts pyrolysis and distillation process to recover high purity MMA monomer from waste PMMA or acrylic organic glass.
Acrylic pyrolysis distillation plant process flow:
Raw Material Pretreatment → Pyrolysis Reaction → Cooling & Condensation → Distillation Purification → Condensation Separation → Storage of high purity MMA products → Vacuum System → Exhaust Gas Treatment → Waste Liquid Recycling,and full process negative pressure automation.
1.Raw material pretreatment:
After manual sorting to remove impurities, PMMA(acrylic scraps, transparent acrylic products) waste is crushed to appropriate particle size by shredder(provided by the customer) and then fed into the pyrolysis reactor,to improve MMA purity
2. Closed feeding:
Sealed screw conveyor with negative pressure feeding, isolated from air, to prevent PMMA from high temperature oxidation and discoloration; nitrogen micro protection throughout the process,improves the yield of MMA monomers.
3.Pyrolysis Reaction:
PMMA waste is pyrolyzed at high temperature in the pyrolysis reactor to produce MMA vapor and a small amount of non-condensable gas. The vapor is cooled sequentially by single-tube condenser and coil cooler, and the condensate is temporarily stored in an underground receiving tank for subsequent distillation and purification.
4. Condensation produces crude MMA monomer:
Cracking high-temperature mixed gas enters the cooling system for rapid cooling, mainly condensing MMA monomer into liquid crude monomers; After condensation, the liquid flows into the crude MMA intermediate storage tank, and the exhaust gas is sent to the heating system for combustion and heating, with waste heat being reused for energy conservation and environmental protection.
5.Distillation and Purification System
The crude MMA in the underground receiving tank is pumped into horizontal distillation reactor via pipeline, and subjected to rectification and separation under negative pressure at 60–100℃.
Vacuum distillation purification,crude MMA enters the distillation kettle, and impurities are separated by boiling point difference in the distillation tower. High purity transparent MMA monomer is produced at the top of the tower; The entire distillation process is under negative pressure and low temperature, and the purity of the finished product can reach 95-98.5%.
6.Finished product storage and disposal of exhaust gas and residue:
The qualified MMA at the top of the distillation tower is cooled and sent to the finished product storage tank, which can be directly exported or reproduced as PMMA products; The whole set of negative pressure sealed operation, no odor, no exhaust gas direct discharge, and smoke emission meets the standard.
